Right. This should have posted last night, but due to the fact that LJ decided to go down for maintenance at essentially the EXACT second I was pressing Post, it did not. Luckily my draft got saved or I'd've been really pissed.

Notes: By request of my best friend, amidala_thrace, who is currently going through... erm, well, a bit of a Han/Leia obsession. ;-) Liz asked me for a fic set after--she was very insistent about this!--the steamy cutaway in the middle of the EU novel Tatooine Ghost. For those who aren't familiar with it, all you need to know is, essentially, that Han has nearly expired of dehydration in the Tatooine desert, and Leia spends about three or so days fearing that he might be dead. Which accounts for the slight level of angst in this. Fic is unbeta'd, beyond a quick run through spellcheck and a bit of grammar doctoring, so excuse any blatant missteps. It is also the first H/L fic I have written in a long, looooooooong time, and I hope VERY much that it is better than those I used to churn out. Tehe. :-D Also very smutty for me. *eyes her brain*

So, er, yes, your eyes are not deceiving you--I come bearing fic! The last time I wrote anything strictly fandom- and fanfic-related was prolly about ten or twelve years ago, so I'm likely rather rusty, but there you go. This was written as a favour to my best friend, who modded fics this year at the Obidala Valentine Online Convention, and there is a companion piece which I'll post tomorrow if I can remember.

Yep, another one of them friends-only journals. ;-) I'll keep this short, cos speaking for myself I hate coming to someone's journal and finding they've got a list of friending rules longer than the next paper I have due in Psych class. You'll prolly have seen all this anyways if you've read my userinfo, but if not, let me rehash.

Essentially: comment below if you wish to be added. I can't make any guarantees, but your chances are infinitely higher if I know you either in real life or from some community or other that we are both a part of. Trolls and those fandomers out to criticise my shipping choices will be swiftly ignored and even more swiftly banned. I don't come into your journal and bash your preferred ship, so why are you doing it in mine? And if you're a spambot or otherwise nefarious, don't even bother. My posts are set to friends-only by default, and I am swift about deleting unwanted threads in the two public posts.
